Online Furniture Order App Backend

Responsive React + Vite application empazise modern, component-driven web interface for an online furniture ordering system. The project contain modular architecture, responsive design, and API integrations.It simulates a real-world e-commerce environment where users can browse items, view product details, add products to a shopping cart, and place orders through a streamlined interface Applied React concepts such as functional components, hooks, props, and state management to build an interactive user interface. Integrated REST API endpoints for handling dynamic data such as furniture catalogs, user authentication, and order processing. Gained hands-on experience in troubleshooting frontend issues, handling asynchronous requests, and improving application performance.

Interprovincial Online Bus Seat Booking App (Backend)

A server-side Web API designed to support bus seat reservation operations for a transport authority (NTC). It provides endpoints for managing routes, buses, schedules, seat availability, reservation creation and cancellation, and user authentication. The backend is structured following layered architecture (controllers / services / data access), with middleware for validation, error handling, and security. Designed semantic endpoints corresponding to resources (e.g. buses, schedules, seats, reservations). Used HTTP methods (GET, POST, PUT/PATCH, DELETE) and status codes appropriately. Implemented user login, token issuance (JWT), and role-based access control (commuter, operator, admin). Validated and sanitised inputs to avoid injection attacks, and handled secure data transmission (e.g. hashing passwords, SSL, etc.). Documented endpoints (via Swagger ) to allow frontends or third parties to understand and consume the API.
