Iroshan Baktharaja

I am a final-year BSc (Hons) Information Technology undergraduate at SLIIT, with a strong interest in Software Quality Assurance and a clear goal of building my career in QA. Through my university and personal projects, I have gained hands-on experience in manual testing, test case design, functional, regression, UI and usability testing, bug reporting, and API testing using Postman. I also have practical experience with test automation using Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, and TestNG. I have worked on web application testing, cross-browser testing, exploratory testing, and automated test execution using GitHub Actions. I have also created test plans, test cases, and structured defect reports as part of my QA portfolio. My software development background with React, Node.js, Spring Boot, and MongoDB also helps me understand application behaviour and communicate effectively with developers when identifying and investigating issues.
